We are a new group trying to get started, Please sign the guestbook or contact me about becoming a member. I am trying to find out if there is enough of an interest in this area to start a group.
I am in the process of getting some land leased. I am trying to get approx 80 acres off hwy171 for a motocross track and a place to build some short trails for riding. I am also trying to get approx 1500 acres in Foster, AL, 1200 acres in Demopolis, AL, and a friend told me about 1600 acres around Knoxville, AL. The 80 acres and and the 1500 and 1600 acres are land that is owned by a family who only use it for Hunting so if I get it we will not be able to ride from around Oct til Feb because of Hunting. The 1200 acres is already leased to my friend who uses it for hunting but he is going to talk to the owner about letting us ride there except during hunting season. If we were to get the rights to ride on this land we would not beable to ride on the green fields and would have to have work days to make up some trails. All the land escept the 80 acres has some swampy areas that would be good for ATV.
If you become a full member of the club when we get it going you will be able to ride on all this land whenever you would like except during Hunting season. When we get enough people interested we will have a meeting and come up with annual dues and rules for the use of the land.
I would also like to take some trips up to Cullman and other riding places in AL and try to take a trip 1 time a year to another state to ride. Give me your ideas on this.
